Project for energy efficiency and seismic improvement of the condominium

Located in the urban context of Milan, the renovation project of this 1970s building was born from research into sustainability applied to the residential environment. It aims to preserve the distinctive architectural aspects of the period, integrating advanced solutions for sustainability. The focal point of the project is the west façade, which, benefiting from excellent solar exposure, is transformed into an Active Wall, equipped with a ventilated façade system with integrated solar panels. This innovation is designed to unite all residents in a real emerging Energy Community: the goal is to establish a Collective Self-Consumption Group, an efficient way of sharing the energy produced by the photovoltaic system, achieving significant economic, social and environmental benefits. The project stands out for its ability to exploit the opportunities offered by the building, integrating multiple services within a single architectural context. A clear example of how architecture, creativity and strategy can combine to give a property a new identity, creating new sources of energy for a constantly evolving metropolis.
